Our extra-curricular highlights
Small school opportunities
Spring Ridge Public Schools is part of the WARRAMA - LI Alliance, consisting of Blackville Public School, Walhallow Public School, Willow Tree Public School, Werris Creek Public School and Wallabadah Public School. Each term all schools in the alliance meet to participate in extracurricular learning experiences based around STEM, cultural, academic and sporting activities
Trips and excursions
Picasso cow project involves learning about dairy production, our K-2 students embarked on an educational excursion to Peel Valley Dairy. K-2 students had a highly enriching visit to Peel Valley Dairy, during which they posed insightful questions, fed calves, and even participated in milking a cow. A major highlight of the trip was indulging in gelato at Blue Cow Gelato.
Sporting opportunities
At our small school, every student has the chance to get active, build confidence and join in. Our sports program promotes teamwork, resilience and healthy habits through fun, inclusive activities.
Students can try different sports, learn new skills and represent the school in local and regional competitions. With smaller class sizes and personalised support, every child is included — whether they’re new to sport or looking to grow their skills.
We’re proud to offer opportunities that keep students active, connected and discovering what they can achieve — on and off the field.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
